Radiantshows how a person’s life is given a path to follow from birth and that every person has a prescribed job to do during their time on earth.
Acknowledgments I have come to understand that one’s life is not something that any one person can say they made happen without the input of others. I would like to recognize these few people for influencing and directing my life in the most positive of ways:
My grandmother, Mrs Alice Jeffries, as I remember her, keeping her family together.
Aunt Rose, the strength and captain of the Jeffries team.
My mother, Mrs. Irene Wright, a person of unbelievable abilities, determination and love for her two boys.
Aunt Ruth, Mrs. Ruth C. Harris, who took the responsibility to raise children of other people as if they were her own. She touched the lives of over fifty-two children in her lifetime.
Mr. Vella, Rovellor Harris, the man who took the place of the father that was not there. His presence is with me every day.
My brother Tony, Talmadge Anthony Wright, my best friend, debater and a person loved by his community.
Mrs. Madeline Wright, the person who helped me develop the foundation of a business (Wright, Inc. Electrical Contractors) that provided us a living for over thirty years.
My daughter, Princess, Shelley Lynn Wright, a little girl who has grown up to be a most beautiful person. She seems to have picked the right road to travel.
My wife Jackie, Mrs Jacqueline Wright. This lady has put up with things coming from me that you could never imagine. She maintains a calm and tolerant position and still says “I love you.” Thank you Jackie, for sticking with me and making my life very happy.
After reading Radiant, I came to realize that you, Harold, was meant to be a guiding light for all young men and women to see themselves through your light.

I have just finished reading Radiantfor the second time. It was a wonderful tribute to the important people in your life. I truly enjoyed the book. In closing, I would like to share with you my favorite memory of you. When your current neighbor moved in, determined to change the neighborhood, she complained about the blackberries bordering your property. Soon after, you were outside spraying the bushes and I rushed out, concerned, because children were used to picking and eating them. You smiled and said “this is only water, but she does not know”. I am glad to have been able to know the man behind Radiant.

Dear Junior Wright, I read some chapters over and over, laughing and savoring so many childhood memories.
