Started Wright, Inc. Electrical Contractors in 1972 to present
Worked on public works projects and private contracts over the thirty nine years of being in business
Participated in many community based organizations that pertained to either labor or contracting issues in Seattle:
The Lindberg Decision, dealing with special apprentices
Seattle Model City's Economic Task Force
United Construction Workers (UCWA), a well respected Minority workers group
Central Contractors Association (CCA), a well respected Contractors Organization
Community Coalition for Contracts and Jobs. (CCCJ), the most recent top of the line organization that help minority and other small companies
Black Builders Association, (BBA), an organization of very qualified construction builders located in the Seattle area
We met at a pivotal point in Seattle, over forty years ago, fighting for our history for justice in an effort to become building tradesmen in the construction industry. During that period of time Wright displayed a no-nonsense and principled honesty that has withstood the test of time.
